Mum branded a ‘disgrace’ after she buys 13-yr-old daughter alcohol to take on school charity walk

A mother was called a ‘ disgrace’ yesterday for buying her 13-year-old daughter and two friends a bottle of vodka, three bottles of wine and two alcopops as they set off on a charity walk.
After 40-year-old Carol Jones gave them the alcohol, the girls disguised it in soft drink bottles to avoid detection by teachers.
Her daughter Kayleigh and her friends, also 13, were later spotted in a ‘paralytic’ condition at a checkpoint on the seven-mile sponsored hike.
One of the teenagers was treated by paramedics after drinking so much she became violently ill and lost consciousness.
